I love these unusual and unconventional (by today's standards) promotional items. I thought these three examples were interesting because of the amount of time and detail that went into designing these matchbooks, the type is extremely beautiful, especially in the Math Hermann & Son Mortuary matchbook. I also really enjoyed the handwriting in the Great Western Motel matchbook. Finally, the type treatment of the word "mint" on the front of the Mint Hotel and Casino is wonderful.
