alright i'm going to go down the line.. 1. I like the curvelinear shapes in this I think it draws in a nice organic element. My only concern is with the coloring. I feel that the coloring and type handlng for the title isn't as prominent as it could be. My eyes initally go to the schedule. 2. I like where this is headed, but I feel like the lines and directions confuse me. I know you need to use a nonobjective element, but I think the line weight and type size/handling are all on the same plane, leaving no sense of hierarchy. 3. Simple and nice! I really like the triangular nonobjective elements! I feel that they move the viewer through the image. However, I feel that it's very horizontal... 4. I feel like the nonobjective elements used are disconnected in this piece. It seems like there is a suggestion of an arrow, but it seems broken up. The curvelinear shape on the left side is very dominant and is taking up too much of the negative space. I'd like to see the type interact with that nonobjective element. 5. I really like the white box behind the title of the event. I think hat it draws attention to that spot. I also feel that the location name and the address get confusing because they've been broken up. I think that placing the AIGA-UWM logo next to the address makes it a bit confusing.
